"在神眼前, 月亮也無光亮, 星宿也不清潔. 何況如蟲的人, 如蛆的世人呢?"
- 聖經約伯記 25:5-25:6
"Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?"
- Job 25:5-25:6
"Son of Man" denotes mankind generally, with special reference to their weakness and frailty. Everything we see hides another thing. We always want to see what is hidden by what we see. There is an interest in that which is hidden and which the visible not show us. This interest can take the form of a quite intense feeling, a sort of conflict between the visible that is hidden and the visible that is present
